The PuppyGuyz Promise: White-Glove Puppy Delivery to Brookhaven
Brookhaven is sprawling — over 500 square miles of neighborhoods, pine barrens, and shoreline communities. Whether you are in a harbor village like Port Jefferson or a family neighborhood like Medford, PuppyGuyz delivers directly to your door with the same level of care regardless of where in the town you live.
Dedicated Ground Transport
For puppies traveling from nearby breeders, our ground team uses a purpose-built transport vehicle designed specifically for young animals making their first big journey.
Climate-Controlled Environment
The cabin holds a consistent, comfortable temperature throughout the entire trip. Individual padded compartments keep puppies calm and secure, whether traveling in July heat or a January cold snap on Long Island.
Constant Monitoring
A trained handler accompanies every puppy for the full duration of the trip. Regular water breaks, health checks, and updates to you are built into every route. You always know where your puppy is and how they are doing.
Flight Nanny Service
When a puppy is traveling from a breeder outside the region, a dedicated flight nanny carries them in-cabin as carry-on luggage. Your puppy never travels in cargo and is never left alone for a single moment during the flight.
Personal Companion
Our flight nannies are experienced animal handlers who keep young puppies calm, fed, and comfortable at altitude. They stay in contact with you before departure and again on landing so you are never left wondering.
Rapid Timeline
Once you select your puppy and place the 50% deposit to secure your reservation, delivery to Brookhaven typically takes one week or less. The entire process from paperwork to front-door arrival is managed by our team.

Staying Compliant: A Guide to Dog Ownership Laws in Brookhaven, NY
Brookhaven and Suffolk County both have clear rules for responsible dog ownership. Here is what every new puppy owner in the area needs to know before their pet arrives.
New York State law requires all dogs to be vaccinated against rabies. The first dose is typically administered between 12 and 16 weeks of age, with a booster required one year later. The NY State Department of Health provides the full schedule and documentation requirements. Your PuppyGuyz puppy arrives with core vaccines already on record to keep you on track from the start.
All dogs four months and older must be licensed through Suffolk County Animal Control. Licensing requires proof of a current rabies vaccination and must be renewed annually. A licensed dog can be identified and returned to you quickly if it ever goes missing, which is especially useful across Brookhaven's large and varied geography.
Dogs must be leashed whenever they are off the owner's property in Suffolk County. This applies to sidewalks, roadsides, and public parks throughout Brookhaven. Designated off-leash areas exist in some county parks but dogs must remain under voice control at all times. Violations are enforced by town and county animal control officers and can result in fines for repeat offenses.
New York's Pet Purchaser Protection Act gives you meaningful legal rights as a puppy buyer. If a licensed veterinarian identifies a health issue within 14 days of purchase or a congenital condition within one year, you are entitled to a replacement, refund, or reimbursement for vet costs. The NY Department of Agriculture and Markets oversees enforcement. PuppyGuyz operates in full compliance with these protections.
